Last month, Donny & I had the honor of capturing the commitment and love between our friends Steve + Leesha as they tied the knot! They were married at Vienna United Methodist Church, which proved to be the perfect ceremony site for their big day! Steve + Leesha’s rustic May wedding was so heartfelt and intimate—there was hardly a dry eye for much of the ceremony. Close friends & family members watched intently as their favorite couple said “I do” and exited the church to applause (and bubbles). It was so special!
After the grand exit and family portraits, we made our way to Lanterman’s Mill for bridal party and bride & groom photos. Although we battled the wind (and at times the rain) for much of the day, we all made the most of it, got some great shots, and had fun! You just can’t beat the natural beauty of Mill Creek Metro Parks regardless of weather—we especially love the falls, wooden covered bridge, trails, and look out deck.
Next, we headed to Hartford Hill Winery for party time! This rustic barn was so classy and cute! We especially loved the outdoor string lights near the patio and pond—as would any wedding photographer! It was the perfect setting for Steve + Leesha’s reception, which was full of special moments! Family members, being musically inclined, formed a band for the occasion and played several songs that the bride & groom requested; Steve shared a beautiful dance with his mother and Leesha with her father; and the new Mr. & Mrs. shared an intimate dance with one another, threw some cake into each others faces, and partied on the dance floor with loved ones. They topped off the celebration with a sparkler exit— which the rain luckily held off for! It was a wonderful day!
