Adrian + Vanessa's Epic Cleveland Wedding at St. Mary's Church & Aherns Banquet Center | Wedding Photos at Progressive Field & The Cleveland Museum of Art | June 29, 2019

Recently, Donny & I had the privilege of capturing two of our now friends Vanessa + Adrian’s epic wedding in Cleveland, Ohio. (We always love making friends with our clients!!) Their big day was one we had long been waiting for—and we know they couldn’t wait either! Their wedding was such a special day filled with so much anticipation, emotion, love, & fun! Donny & I are so grateful to have been a part of it! :)

The day began with photography of Vanessa & Adrian’s details. This typically includes shoes, rings, dress, tie, invitation, jewelry, & more. We like to style these details & get creative before getting ready photos are taken. We also love to take candids during this time as well to capture the emotion of the moments leading up to the big reveal. These pre-cermony shots are always so memorable!

Adrian + Vanessa were married at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Berea, Ohio on a sunny June day. Their ceremony was traditional, but had a sense of humor & joyful overtones to it that suited their personalities so well! Father Max was hilarious & made the ceremony light, interacting with the bride & groom as well as guests—something we don’t always see at traditional ceremonies.

When the big reveal came, it was such a sweet moment for Adrian & Vanessa as well as their families and friends. Adrian & admiring loved ones watched as the stunning bride walked down the aisle in her gorgeous dress to meet her soon to be husband. (This is always one of our favorite moments of the ceremony! It’s so emotional & sweet!) Adrian + Vanessa made the bond official & shared a kiss sealing forever.

After capturing Vanessa + Adrian’s grand bubble exit & family portraits, we headed to Cleveland for bridal party & bride + groom photos. First, we hit up Progressive Field to capture some awesome shots of everyone in front of the Cleveland Indians stadium. This was a must for Adrian + Vanessa as Indians fans, and the photos came out amaaaazing! Following this, we traveled to the Cleveland Museum of Art for more formal bridal party and bride & groom portraits. (There’s so much to work with as a photographer at this location given Wade’s Lagoon, the fountain, stairs, & architecture of the museum itself. It’s very iconic! It’s also very wide open and busy given its beauty & popularity.)

Next, it was off to the reception to party—and boy, was it a party! Everyone present truly enjoyed themselves throughout the night. Adrian + Vanessa shared so many sweet moments with one another as well as their family members and close friends, particularly during their dances; the bride & groom smushed some cake in each other’s faces; & young and old danced! At one point, nearly everyone was on the dance floor together for a last hurrah photo to end the night. It was a great end to an epic celebration honoring the bond forged between two amazing individuals who decided to become one!
