Several weeks ago, Donny & I had the privilege of photographing the bond between two amazing individuals (who have now become friends), Will + Gabby. Their sunny Florida wedding in Venice was absolutely gorgeous, heartfelt, and intimate. Guests flew in from all over the world, traveling thousands of miles to be apart of the festivities and witness the love and commitment of their favorite couple. It was such a special day! We’re so thankful we were able to be apart of it and tell their beautifully unique story.
Happy 2019 everyone! :) It’s crazy to think that an entire year has gone by since I last sat down to write a New Year’s blog. I can vividly remember sipping coffee at a house I no longer live in and recapping my 2017 that was full of travel and excitement. Honestly, I would be lying if I said 2018 wasn’t much different than that - because it was. It was full of a lot of major ups and downs, transitions, changes, and general busyness, but I’m grateful for every second of it. Not only did I photograph more weddings than I ever have, but I also got to have my own wedding and marry my best friend, Donny, on our 6th (dating) anniversary.
Colton and Jessica got married on what I’m convinced was one of the most beautiful fall days of the year. Their big day was held at Alford’s Glen - a lovely, rustic barn venue with tons of surrounding woods. I knew it would be perfect for such an outdoorsy couple after getting to know them a little bit during their engagement session and throughout the wedding planning process. What more could you ask for than to roam through the sunlit forest after exchanging your vows with your best friends by your side? It was magical!
Adam + Nicole's military wedding was certainly one to remember! This classic Youngstown wedding featured locations such as the traditional Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, the gorgeous Mahoning County Courthouse, and other beautiful downtown Youngstown spots. These are some of my favorite buildings to photograph in given the historic architecture & beautiful cosmetics which offer a lot of character that speak to the unique nature of Youngstown itself.
Today on the blog I'm featuring Jayden + Jamie's stunning wedding at Stambaugh Auditorium in downtown Youngstown! Jayden and Jamie are some of the happiest, most go with the flow type of people I've ever met. I knew this about Jamie when I first met her years ago while studying art and working at Youngstown State University. She would seriously just make me laugh every time we were together because she has such an infectiously joyful personality. When I met Jayden a year ago for their engagement photos I knew they were a good fit for each other. These are truly my favorite kind of couples. The ones you just look at and go, "good job at finding one another!" They're just so cute and perfect together!
I first met Jordan and Eva when we went to Fellows Riverside Gardens for their engagement session about five months before their wedding and I just knew I would love them. They're so sweet, fun, full of life and completely in love with each other. Their connection is so undeniable and pure. You couldn't tear these two apart if you tried. It's couples like this who make me feel extra honored and excited to do what I do. I couldn't wait to document one of the best days of their lives!
